What does Drivest provide?
Drivest provides future learner and learner preparation tools, reconstructed practice routes, advisory navigation support, parking guidance, progress tracking, subscriptions, and, where enabled, instructor marketplace and booking features.
Is Drivest only for people already taking lessons?
No. Drivest is also positioned for future learner driver preparation. Users can begin theory, Highway Code, traffic signs, and fines preparation early before practical lessons begin.
Is Drivest affiliated with DVSA?
No. Drivest is an independent product and has no affiliation with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency or any government authority.
Are Drivest routes official driving test routes?
No. Routes are reconstructed or generated for learning and practice only and must never be described as official test routes.
Can I study in another language and still check the English question?
Yes. Drivest supports theory learning across 32 languages. Learners can study in a preferred language and use English Peek to compare the same question in English when they want extra certainty.
Can I rely on Drivest as the final authority while driving?
No. Users must always follow live road signs, real-world conditions, traffic laws, and any instruction from an instructor, examiner, police officer, or other authority.
Does Drivest guarantee parking legality or availability?
No. Parking outputs are advisory only. Users must check local signage and local restrictions before leaving a vehicle.
What subscription plans does Drivest offer?
Drivest offers an annual navigation plan, an annual navigation plan bundled with one month of practice route access for one selected test centre, and a monthly practice routes plan. Free learning and onboarding access remain available before upgrading.
Do practice routes last for the full bundled annual subscription period?
Not always. Under the bundled annual navigation and limited practice route plan, navigation continues for the annual period but route access for the chosen centre expires after one month unless extended through a separate purchase.
How do lesson bookings work?
Where marketplace features are live, Drivest allows learners to discover instructors, select availability, book a lesson, and complete payment through the platform. The lesson itself remains a contract between the learner and the instructor.
What is the lesson cancellation policy?
If a learner cancels 48 hours or more before the lesson, a full refund applies. Between 24 and 48 hours, up to 25% may be retained by the instructor. Between 12 and 24 hours, up to 50% may be retained. Less than 12 hours before the lesson, no refund applies. If the instructor cancels, the learner receives a full refund.
Does Drivest verify instructors?
Drivest may carry out limited checks for platform integrity, but it does not certify or guarantee instructor qualifications or status unless this is expressly stated.
What data does Drivest collect?
Depending on the features used, Drivest may process account details, device and technical data, learning progress, route activity, booking records, payment metadata, consent records, review content, dispute evidence, and audit logs.
Does Drivest track my location all the time?
No. Location is used where route, hazard, or parking features require it and where device permission is granted. Drivest does not store continuous background location history on its servers unless that is clearly disclosed in a future version.
Does Drivest sell my data?
No. Drivest does not sell personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.
How do disputes work?
A learner or instructor may submit a dispute through the platform where available. Drivest may review the available record, including logs, timestamps, payment data, and evidence, and may make a platform decision such as no action, refund, restriction, or suspension.
How do I request access to or deletion of my data?
Email admin@drivest.uk with the request details. Identity verification may be required before action is taken.
